Mark Blyth, Managing Director
Mark started work in the futures and commodities market back in February 1983. By 1989 Mark was the Managing Director of Alpha Financial Futures Ltd. Alpha Financial Futures Ltd was built up to become one of the largest independently owned broking operations on the LIFFE Exchange. lt covered every trading pit whilst employing 64 members of staff and served clients of the likes of Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch and Deutsche Bank.
Mark sold the company in 1996 but continued to trade on the LIFFE floor, and numerous other exchanges, until the LIFFE Exchange eventually closed at the end of 1999 to go electronic. Following the LIFFE trading, Mark kept up-to-date with the markets by trading off his own books, predominantly in the AIM market, whilst managing the development of a technology based environmental product.
